Currently in the final stages of construction in Vlissingen, Holland, SYM Superyacht Management is proud to be acting as the buyers chief representative for what will be quite a show-stopping new build.

Working alongside a fantastic Captain and crew, this new construction is advancing in a true Dutch organised fashion and the end result promises to be quite exceptional.

We last mentioned the Amels 188’ when she was sold by SYM Superyacht Management back in September 2017 and since then the project has been a huge focus for the SYM team as she nears a launch in mid – April for dockside trials and final commissioning.

The build makes this one of SYM Superyacht Management’s most exciting projects to date as we work alongside the master shipbuilders, Amels Holland, in the completion of this ground breaking vessel.

“This new construction is advancing in a true Dutch organised fashion and the end result promises to be quite exceptional,” SYM Managing Director Ben Young comments. “The boat is amazing and the work being carried out by the team in exceptional, we couldn't be happier. Any small issues are dealt with smoothly and without fuss – a real pleasure to work with such professionals.”

Due for launch in the Summer of 2018, this hybrid superyacht is the first vessel built by the Dutch shipyard to meet the new IMO tier III regulations and will also integrate a new generation of engineering best practice to manage power onboard responsibly as well as use energy more efficiently.
