Where are the Captains favorite anchorages?


As the summer season ramps up we ask some of our most experienced Captains where their favourite anchorages are, the answers were extremely varied and very interesting!

We thought we would share some of the finest, in no particular order.

ASHLEY WOODWISS, M/Y STARDUST: Hvar in Croatia & Miljet in Croatia

TIM OLDCROFT, M/Y No 9 of LONDON: Dinner afloat off the west coast of Stromboli, Italy technically too deep to anchor!

JEAN MAX BERTHET, M/Y JACOZAMI: Cala Sa Calobra, north of Porto Soller In Palma

BLAKE SMITH, M/ Y RENEWAL II: Monemvasia, Peloponnese Islands, Greece

ARTHUR JURG, M/Y SPONTANEOUS: Island of Praslin In the Seychelles & also Mustique in the Caribbean

DANIEL HIGLETT, M/Y TWENTY EIGHT: Atholl Bay Sydney, for New Year’s Eve
